DescriptionLocationInstructors Safety Awareness for Realtor Professionals Self Defense is not a martial art. Self Defense is about awareness and prevention. Through situational videos and open discussion, participants will be shown how to be keenly aware of surroundings and learn to accurately assess various situations that can lead to unwanted consequences. During this session, participants will be able to: • recognize aggressor characteristics • understand the sale cycle vs. assault cycle • identify levels of threat and response • demonstrate a proper mindset in conjunction with awareness Zoom Webinar - Online Zoom Webinar (Online) Online, KS Map & Directions Anthony Welch Mr. Welch has been trained in over ten disciplines of martial arts, is experienced in Special Combat Aggressive Reactionary System (SCARS), which is utilized by the NAVY SEALS, and various non-lethal weapons training through the Marines. In the Navy, Mr. Welch was a Tactical Combat Casualty Care instructor and subject matter expert. He holds a B.A. in Anthropology and has certifications in Forensic Science, Criminology and Profiling, and Body Language Fundamentals. He also has been certified in Pressure Point Control Tactics, Management of Aggressive Behavior, and was Class A armed/unarmed licensed. He is a member of the National Guard and specializes in identification, handling, and destruction of various weaponries.
